Oxford College at Emory University - Residence Hall Complex

New 114,381 SF, 2 building, 3 story residence hall with 350 beds – utilizes a 2-4 bed double room complex and common baths. The project was awarded LEED™ Gold.
Two utility services were provided: one 480V for the chiller and associated equipment and one 208V for the residence buildings. A single diesel generator was provided for emergency lighting and elevators.
Emory University - Goizueta Business School Expansion

New 91,000 SF, 5 story classroom and office building for Emory University. The project was awarded LEED™ Gold.
The design included daylight harvesting in offices using occupancy sensors and photo control sensors. Design included power, lighting, fire alarm, lightning protection and grounding.
University of Georgia - East Village Commons Dining Hall
Location: Athens, GA Type: Higher Education - Dining Hall Size: 58,000SF
New 58,000SF, 2 story dining hall and social facility. The building houses Campus Parking Services offices, Concessions kitchen, convenience store, Cyber Café, 8,000 SF kitchen and 580 seat dining facility. Project includes electrical design and construction phase services for power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
Morehouse College - Ray Charles Performing Arts Center
Location: Atlanta, GA Type: Higher Education - Performing Arts Center Size: 76,000SF
The latest additions to the Morehouse College campus are 76,000SF total including a 44,910 SF Performance Auditorium and 25,134SF Music Academic Building. This center provides a high‐tech performance hall for concerts and drama events and a learning center for the arts.
The $20-million facility houses a digital/analog recording studio, 12 faculty studios, nine practice rooms, two rehearsal rooms and three academic labs. The convert hall boasts a 550-fixed-seat capacity and includes a motorized orchestra pit that can be raised to provide additional seating. Design included power, lighting, specialized theatrical lighting, fire alarm, grounding and voice/data systems.
Glennwood Academy Elementary School
Location: Decatur, GA Type: K-12 Education Size: 3-Story Building
The historic, 3-story building was constructed in the early 1900’s and needed complete renovation to become updated. Performed the electrical design for the renovation and addition for an existing elementary school over 50 years old. Design included complete renovation of the electrical power, lighting, fire alarm and intercom systems.
Douglass High School
Location: Decatur, GA Type: K-12 Education Size: Over 300,000 SF
Over 300,000 SF new construction for new multi-building campus including new gym and auditorium buildings. This project also includes renovation of existing 4-story classroom and P.E. buildings.
Design scope includes multiple power services, and low voltage system interface between structures. Systems include large-scale performance stage, theatrical lighting and sound, power, general lighting, voice-data and video, intercom, program clock, fire alarm, intrusion detection, CCTV and access control systems, including wireless and web-based security system technologies.
Emory Vivarium Renovation, Clinic Building ‘B’
Location: Atlanta, GA Type: Healthcare Size: 6-Story Building
Complete renovation of current vivarium area in existing 6-story multi-use structure. Power, lighting and systems design for highly specialized equipment and functions, including animal housing, cage washing and sterilization, waste management and related procedures. Design power, lighting, controls, fire alarm, security, data and communications systems to interface with existing building systems.
