Mr. Barnett is an electrical engineering graduate of Georgia Tech and is the president and founder of Barnett Consulting Engineers. He has been focused on critical facilities, telecommunications, and data centers for his entire career.

Repeat business from his clients reflects the respect he has gained over the years from other professionals, contractors, owners, and data center users. His projects include not only new 100,000 SF class Tier IV facilities, but also highly complex upgrades in live data centers.

He has developed a team of thoughtful, creative engineers at BCE who are dedicated to quality of design and meeting the needs of their clients.

A recent project completed by the team is the design a visionary new large-scale data center which embodies totally new concepts for simple operation, reliability, modularity, and high efficiency, all at a lower cost per kW than comparable facilities.

Mr. Barnett has served on the State of Georgia Electrical Code Committee to review, amend and adopt the NEC for use in the State of Georgia.
