Leah T. Benincasa | PE, LEED™ AP BD+C, DCEP | CEO
Ms. Benincasa has been at BCE for over 20 years. She is an engineering graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a LEED Building Design + Construction Accredited Professional. She has been involved in many LEED™ registered projects, including the first LEED™ Platinum certified building in the Southeast.
Ms. Benincasa is a certified Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) and she is a member of the core team for capacity planning for several large financial institution data centers. Her responsibilities include computer equipment plans, management of loads, and circuit assignments in over 200,000 SF of active data centers.
She has served as Project Manager for the firm on a variety of projects in the areas of higher education, Athletic Facilities, K-12, Housing and Commercial. Responsibilities included production of electrical systems design, BIM design, and construction administration.
Ms. Benincasa is a registered Professional Engineer in Alabama, Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina and Tennesse.

Mihai Sterescu | PE, RCDD, ATD | President
Mr. Sterescu graduated from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He is an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) and Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).
Since joining BCE in 1999, Mr. Sterescu has participated in the design of many mission-critical projects, including complex reliability analysis of power systems using Markov modeling.
Mr. Sterescu‘s experience includes numerous difficult upgrades in existing mission critical facilities. He has demonstrated creative thinking in solving complex problems. On many projects, his innovative ideas reduced the risk to the facility while saving construction cost and time. On a recent data center upgrade project, in a building with limited vertical space for overhead feeders, his design, not only made the construction of the project possible, but saved millions of dollars, compared to other design options.
Mr. Sterescu is a registered Professional Engineer in Alabama, Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Taylor F. Peeples | P.E. | Project Manager
Ms. Peeples graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Ms. Peeples has received extensive training in performing power studies using in SKM Power Tools for Windows software. She has completed power studies for several major financial institution data centers where she coordinated the overcurrent protective devices, performed arc flash risk assessment, and provided equipment labels for Arc Flash and Shock Hazard safety.
Ms. Peeples has worked as lead engineer on several renovation and new construction projects within the firm. These project responsibilities include production of BIM models and drawings, designing power, lighting, and fire alarm systems, and construction administration.
She is a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia.
